Bublyky is a musical project that was intended for children but became beloved by adults too.
In Ukrainian, a bublyk is a type of Ukrainian pastry, a small sweet ring-shaped roll.
Every bublyk song is a summary of the efforts of creative and inspired Ukrainians. These artists make us, children and adults, acquainted with well-known, forgotten, and new poetry wrapped in music.
Some of the Bublyky songs are "wearing" warm hoodies and cozy t-shirts from Sketchout.
All musical characters presented are sweet, kind, and strong!
Olya was born in Lviv and graduated from Lviv National Art Academy with a major in the restoration of artworks. Since her childhood, Olya was painting a lot and spent time, watching her father's works. Even now, his sculpture workshop remains a rich source of inspiration for Olya.
Olya's mother - a teacher of culture and art - arranged piano classes and vocal lessons for her daughter. Olya's love to sing brought her to the Word and Voice theatre where she worked for five years as an actress and art consultant. All of these factors made Olya a perfect match for the Bublyky team. Since 2022, the artist has been living in Denmark where she is drawing and painting.
Olya-Anna Kapustyak

All of them have been created by Olya-Anna Kapustyak.
When Olya creates a bublyk painting, she draws with a pencil or paints with pastels and gouache. Inspired by Ukrainian and Danish artists, she tries not to force herself into a specific style but allows the style to shape itself, while the project is growing and the songs are being written.
The Bublyky project has become her first experience in painting for children. Bublyky inspires Olya with its goal and mission.
Olya believes that during the war today, every action if it is sincere and true, brings life and victory to Ukraine!
