My name is Tanya and I am engaged in painting clothes, walls, wood, metal...

 

As you have understood, I am not principled when it comes to choosing a canvas. The main thing for me is what I paint, not what I paint on.

As for me, art is a special part of life. It is something that has always reminded me of who I am.
 

Whether I worked in a restaurant, factory, office, or even at home, creativity was my inspiration,
That is why I strive to share this inspiration with everyone around me.

I am a psychology student and illustrator from Ukraine. While moving and living in different countries, I noticed that I like exploring the human psyche and what affects it.

I always loved expressing my main passions in art. My love for art started when I began to understand more about this world and my place in it. I love to use symbolism in my works to deliver the messages that I’m trying to convey.

In my works I explore factors that influence the human minds such as dreams, real-world events, social media, society, and culture. My works are inspired by some of the contemporary problems that humans are dealing with due to the modern standards of living, perceptions around how people should look, and what they “have to” achieve.
I hope that my art helps people understand something about themselves.

I like to draw, and I also like cats, birds, hedgehogs (that is, everything I draw on postcards) and tomatoes. My favorite technique is watercolor, I get high from it.

While I pursue a physics degree in the University of British Columbia, art and specifically painting are my biggest passions.

 

My artistic style is a mix of realism with symbolism, bright and strong colors. 

Some people start painting to relax or express themselves. I started painting to find what I am missing. 

 

I want to break down the complex concepts of time, culture, relationships into something tangible - whether color, emotion or a fictional character. It is an opportunity to bridge languages, places and people. 

 

My art is about the freedom that comes with being young, struggles with navigating through the uncertainly and opening myself up to new experiences.

Hello! I am an aspiring Ukrainian artist who wants to make a change. My art journey started 5+ years ago, and since 2020 I have been taking part in lots of social projects as well as contributing to the Ukrainian art community as much as I could.

My passion is sharing Ukrainian art and stories through the artworks I make. 
It always warms my heart to see people from different countries discover and enjoy Ukrainian culture and arts and this is why I want to spend most of my life dedicated to it.

So many people try to find themselves in this big world.  And you are one of those who inspire, change the world inside yourselves and around us.  Your desire to paint is quite natural because all of us lack colors, strokes, or contours so often!
 

So paint the world for us!
